Christmas '24 / New Year '25 & prices increases

SupplyDivision, Christmas '24 / New Year '25 AND current projected cost increases in 2025 prices.

We shall close on 20th December 2024(last dispatch) and re-open on Thursday 2nd of January 2025.

Due to escalating tensions in marine navigation and the well publicised full scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia there is increasing disruption to sea freight from the far east. This naturally has the knock-on effect of substantially increasing sea-freight costs which results in forcing the price on other freight options up too. In short it is impossible to escape the increased delivery costs. To provide our clients with some degree of certainty for the coming year we have always tried hard to have just one price re-alignment per item per year, that has historically been on the 1st January. The current projection in UK factory gate prices of goods made predominately from imported far eastern stock is in the region of +5.25%

As usual, we always recommend that you plan as far ahead as possible for your "mission critical" products and try, whenever possible, to hold a buffer stock to help you mitigate the effects these have on the supply chain(and your blood pressure).

We are always keen to understand the perspective of others so we can continually refine our operations. If you have any queries , comments or observations on the above please feel free to contact us.

Assuring you of our best service at all times. Keep safe & kind regards,

Your SupplyDivision team.
